LOS ANGELES (February 13, 2024) – Great American Packaging (GAP), a leading manufacturer of custom flexible packaging solutions, announced the hire of Mark McAnlis as VP of Sales. In this position, McAnlis will lead GAP’s sales team, serving its key customer base of brand manufacturers and owners in the fresh and frozen foods, bakery, snacks foods, ice, consumer products, natural products and nutraceutical industries.

With nearly 15 years of experience in the packaging and logistics industries, McAnlis is poised to provide trusted packaging expertise to customers and prospects, while holding internal teams accountable to deliver high-quality packaging solutions quickly and consistently.

Prior to joining the GAP team, McAnlis served as the VP of Sales with Paramount Global, Inc. His areas of expertise include geographic expansion in strategic markets, the evolution and solidification of sales teams to support key industries and the creation of effective packaging solutions for customers.

For nearly 60 years, GAP has delivered custom flexible packaging solutions with a comprehensive portfolio of poly bags & films and sustainable packaging options. Since day one, GAP has put exceptional customer service at the forefront of its processes, exceeding customer expectations from quote to delivery.

“What interested me in GAP was its customer-centric approach to business and commitment to being a leader – both in traditional and sustainable flexible packaging solutions,” said McAnlis. “The team is committed to matching products with the correct packaging that both protects product integrity and works well in manufacturing processes. I look forward to working with this team to introduce GAP’s custom packaging solutions and superior customer service to more brand manufacturers and owners across industries.”

“I am excited to welcome Mark to the team to continue to evolve our sales strategy and ability to recommend packaging solutions that meet our customers’ needs – both today and in the future,” said GAP President Bruce Carter. “His dedication to building strong teams and expanding reach in key industries will help us better serve customers that value our product knowledge and service commitment and furthers our ability to deliver more in a world that often settles for less.”
