How to measure for box liners
2014/02/13 8:38 pm
For products that are shipped or stored in boxes or crates, box liners are used to protect contents from dust, dirt, and moisture. When measuring boxes for correctly fitting liners, the following formulas should be used:
Width is determined by dividing the circumference of the box by 2, and then adding 2. Find the circumference by adding the lengths of each of the sides.
Width = (circumference divided by 2) + 2”
Length is determined by taking half of the narrow width and adding the height of the box. Then add 5”to 8” for extra material to fold over or tie off.
(1/2 the narrow width + height of box) + 5” to 8”
